A-100 VCO's and noise generators

Module Description Controls Inputs/Outputs
Standard VCO

4 waveforms; Rectangle with adjustable pulsewidth (0-100%, including Pulse Width Modulation), Sawtooth, Triangle and Sine. Hard sync input, frequency range about 1Hz-5kHz. CV by 1V/Oct.

Difference to High-End VCO:
Frequency range, waveforms not 100% ideal (musically not a disadvantage), no linear FM input, no softsync input.

  • High-End VCO

    Like the A110, but improved frequency range and waveforms, a linear FM input and a soft sync input.

  • Noise/Random

    Noise generator with white and colored noise outputs. Red and blue level of colored noise adjustable. Random voltage output with rate (i.e. variation speed) and level adjustable

  • Dig. noise/Random clock

    Digital clock generator with adjustable frequency (spectrum);
    high frequency=noise,
    low frequency=random pulses.
    Typical applications: second noise generator, FX sounds, random clock pulses.

    808 Sound source
    A Roland TR-808 sound generator with 6 fixed square pulse oscillators for the classic cowbell, cymbal and hihat sounds.
    2 outputs with 2 and 6 oscillators respectively.
