at Virtual X-mas back in 1998 here in Sweden. We have now decided to accept an invitation

Puh, finally back from USA and Mexico. We had a wonderful time, and would like to thank
organizers as well as fans for the GREAT reception in both countries. The Venue in Mexico
City turned out to be too small (500 people) for the event. And since
a lot of fans never got the chance to visit our concert on the 8th, we decided to have
another one on the 9th. These two nights, togehter with the concert in LA, truly gave us
the chance to enjoy playing live again. Thank´s!

Due to the fact that elegant MACHINERY have agreed to play live in USA and Mexico in May and June, a lot of questions have been asked whether we will reunite or not. The answer is the same as always; no, we will not reunite. The decision to split the band two years ago was final, and it still is.
The reason why we have agreed to play live in USA and Mexico is simple; we want to meet our
devoted fans there once and for all, and we are relly looking forward doing this trip. We will
present any new information regarding this as soon as we can. Meanwhile, please visit

elegant MACHINERY splits! Ten years of electronic music with eM is now over - Richard, Robert and Johan have decided to put elegant MACHINERY to rest. Richard, Robert and Johan are still friends though, and it might be that some kind of music emerges in the future through different projects. elegant MACHINERY would like to thank all supporters worldwide for their support. It´s been ten great years.

The main reason for this is Richard´s studies. He is currently
working on his master in history at the university of Lund. Meanwhile Johan is
working as a full-time member in S.P.O.C.K.

"Fading Away" has finally been released in USA on "A different drum". It´s a US only single including a NEW great song called "A portrait without life".

At the swedish electronic music awards, SEMA, elegant MACHINERY won the price as "Swedish
liveact 1997", and came on second place as "Swedish artist 1997".
elegant MACHINERY live on swedish television. eM will appear on Z-TV on the 17'th of April between five and seven PM. eM will perform two songs (Their new single included) + interview. Want to be there? ZTV lets 75 eM-fans join the show - for free! Visit "Västmannagatan 44A" in Stockholm. Be there!
The new single will be released by the end of April, and the compilation later in May. The final work on the compilation is made together with Eskil Simonsson from Covenant.
